The House campaign stages Nick Ross' P-L series, a collection of aluminium furniture and homewear, in a bare, yet familiar and homely setting. The very contemporary pieces are placed in the contrast of a square grey carpet on a pitch black background. The series of reproduced still photographs capture the eeriely familiar square rooms of a conceptualised house. Objects like a grey carpet, a printer, and a box television add to this familiarity. The furniture and homewear itself become foreign, yet welcomed intruders in this oddly mundane environment and layer a futurist lens over the context of this otherwise to-the-bone houselike setting. Art Director: Kristian Kirk, Photographer: Magnus Bach, Graphic Designer: Frederik Galsgaard.
